WHO IS BEST FRIENDS?
Best Friends Animal Society is a leading animal welfare organization working to end the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters by 2025.

With Best Friends, we’re working to save the lives of cats and dogs all-across America, giving pets second chances and happy homes.
Let’s Take Action For Animals! Help us raise $250,000 for Best Friends.
“Together We Can Save Them All.”
Founded in 1984, Best Friends is a pioneer in the no-kill movement and has helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters from an estimated
17 million per year to around 625,000. Best Friends runs lifesaving programs all across the country, as well as the nation’s largest no-kill animal sanctuary. Working collaboratively with a network of more than 3,200 animal welfare and shelter partners, and community members nationwide, Best Friends is working to Save Them All®.
Every day, more than 1,700 dogs and cats are killed in our nation’s shelters because they don’t have safe places to call home. Animal shelters, local stakeholders, lifesaving groups, and individual community members are working together to take collective responsibility for at-risk pets right where they live. Together, we can create compassionate no-kill communities nationwide for pets and the people who care for them.
Action = Change
$250,000 would help Best Friends support more shelters in the US, that have large pet lifesaving gaps to overcome. It would enable us to increase resources for advancing our 2025 no kill mission and Save Them All.
